Cyndy Hoenig owns Pure PR, a small PR company in Oklahoma City. Her 25 years of PR experience have taken her from her home in Oklahoma to an entertainment career in Los Angeles, where she served as Director of the Television Division of Bender, Helper & Goldman Public Relations, one of the top five PR companies in L.A. Her area of expertise centers on planning and executing media relations programs that achieve high levels of coverage. Cyndy has managed media relations for the Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild, MTV and VH-1 Music Awards shows, as well as top television shows for NBC, CBS, FOX, Carsey-Werner, Aaron Spelling, Disney Channel and 20th Television. She was the personal publicist for Suzanne Somers for more than 10 years. In OKC, she organized the media for the Oklahoma City National Memorial’s 10th Anniversary, handling over 700 media outlets attending. A program she planned and managed for Oklahoma City’s Race for the Cure enhanced awareness to a level that resulted in a 35% increase in participation. Cyndy studied communications at University of Central Oklahoma and St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas.
